Education
Louise Graduated from University of Hull with BSc (Hons)Sport Rehabilitation in 2023, prior to this Louise completed level 3 and 4 Diplomas in Sports Massage Therapy and has worked as a sports massage therapist since 2018.
As a Sports Rehabilitator, Louise is a healthcare practitioner that uses exercise, movement, and manual interventions such as massage to help people of all ages and backgrounds recover from injuries and conditions affecting the Musculoskeletal system.
Career
Through placements and work Louise has had experience working in clinical, sports and military environments including Grimsby Town Football club, Hull City Ladies FC, Hull FC, Louise was lucky enough to gain experience with the French Women’s Rugby World Cup Team. Military placements included Royal Marines Triathlon, Sapper Fest, Race the sun. Louise has worked in clinics in Scunthorpe and the Health, Injury and Performance Hub within the University of Hull also some time in an NHS clinic.
Approach
Her focus is to ensure that treatment is specific for the needs of the individual, getting them back to activity as safely and quickly as possible. Becca then moved back to Stirling and has been working with all types of clients from young to old, manual workers and desk based professionals.
Interests
Louise is originally from Grimsby but moved to Scotland with her family soon after Graduation and they have enjoyed exploring the local area so far with lots more adventures planned. Before moving Louise was in the Army, serving in the Royal signals where she deployed to Iraq, she then worked as a senior care worker. Louise enjoys going to the gym, hiking and paddleboarding, this year she plans to learn to ski and would like to take up a new sport.
